Julia (Belén Rueda) não consegue entender a morte repentina de sua irmã, Sara. De acordo com as evidências, a morte de Sara foi suicídio, mas Julia recusa-se a aceitar e começa a sua própria investigação, refazendo os últimos passos da irmã. Quanto mais vai atrás, mais aspectos negativos ela descobre, e sua irmã pode não ser aquilo que ela esperava. Com o passar do tempo, todas as pessoas próximas de Julia começam a se afastar. Ela terá que percorrer esse caminho desconhecido e perigoso sozinha e com um agravante, uma doença genética faz com que, progressivamente, Julia perca a visão.
