Szilveszter éjszakáján hallgatja ki a rendőrség Martineud közjegyzőt, aki két megerőszakolt kislány holttestét fedezte fel különböző időben és helyeken, ezért alaposan gyanúsítható a gyilkosságok elkövetésével.
