Richard O'Barry war in den Sechzigerjahren Trainer des berühmten TV-Darlings Flipper. Seit 38 Jahren engagiert er sich gegen den Fang von Delfinen, die weltweit für bis zu 150.000 Dollar an Vergnügungsparks verkauft werden. Denn die Fangmethoden gleichen eher einem Massaker. Im japanischen Küstenort Taiji etwa werden die Meeressäuger zusammengetrieben und brutal abgestochen. Viele verenden einfach in den Fangnetzen. Nur die stärksten und schönsten Delfine werden für den Verkauf an Zoos am Leben gelassen.
