Megan ist ein verwöhntes Hollywoodsternchen und dreht eine billige Komödie nach der anderen. Als jedoch ihr Onkel mit einem großen Teil ihres Vermögens ins Ausland verschwindet und Megan ihren Freund im Bett mit ihrem Manager erwischt, bricht für sie die Welt zusammen. Leicht angetrunken setzt sie ihr Auto gegen den nächsten Baum und wacht am nächsten Morgen vor einem Rekrutierungsbüro der U.S. Army auf. Wild entschlossen, ihr Leben zu ändern, meldet sie sich für das nächstbeste Ausbildungsprogramm an und findet sich umgehend im Boot Camp wieder, wo ihr die Ausbilderin von Anfang an ordentlich zusetzt. Doch Megan ist taffer als sie denkt.
